Easter outfits...

Madi looked so cute in her Easter dress on Sunday.  I love her in blue.  It makes her eyes stand out.
I wanted to get a few pictures of the two of them so we stopped at the nature center in Kaysville on our way home from visiting mom and dad.  Madi was ready to climb right up these poles.  She was too excited about seeing the ducks to do much picture taking.
She is SO her mother's daughter!  Is this the most lady like pose or what?  She posed herself for this picture and it cracked me up because I could always remember my mom telling me to sit like a lady.  Even still, I prefer long skirts so I don't have to worry about how I am sitting. :D
After daddy helped her sit more appropriately she finally flashed a smile my way.  I can't believe how big she is getting.  She is growing up so fast!  She amazes me with some of the words she can say and the things she understands.  I love the care and concern in her voice when she talks.  She is so sweet to her little brother and is always worried about him, especially when he's sad.  She always wants to know where he is and likes to give him loves and kisses.  She is such a good helper too!
Our little Easton looked adorable in his Easter clothes too.  We took him to sacrament meeting today for the first time.  Thanks Erin for teaching me how to make the tie!

Happy Easter!!!

The Easter Bunny made an early stop at our house Saturday morning.  We love that he is so willing to do that so we can turn our focus to the Savior on Sunday.  Madi loved her Easter basket.  I didn't get a picture of it, but it had a Disney Princess sing along DVD, a ball, bracelets and her favorite... lots of PEZ!  She also got a new dress but I don't have a picture of that yet.  Easton's basket had a rattle in it.  Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch Madi do her Easter egg hunt.  Madi has sure taken a liking to her Grandpa.  She LOVES him!  We took advantage of the time and got a few pictures of them with Easton.
We also took our first picture with the whole family...
Here's Grandma with her little Easton...
Madi wasn't totally sure about the Easter egg hunt idea.  Why should she pick up OUR mess?
Then I showed her there was chocolate inside the eggs and she decided it was ok to pick them up.  Daddy helped her for a minute to get her going.
She got about half done and lost interest.  She only wanted to eat her "choc".
A piece in the mouth and one in each hand...
Here's the guys... Grandpa, Daddy and Easton
Madi LOVES balls so she was really excited for the one the Easter Bunny brought.
 Such a good daddy!
Grandpa actually wanted to hold Easton!  (He likes to wait until they are older so he doesn't break them. :D)
After the eggs were all found and picked up we went to the Brick Oven for lunch.  We always have such a wonderful time with mom and dad and are grateful they live close.  We wish we were closer to more of our family, especially around holidays.
We are so very grateful for our Savior and the sacrifices He made for us.  The atonement brings great peace and comfort to our souls and we hope to teach our children the amazing love He has for us.  Happy Easter!!!
